Do you feel...

  • Overwhelmed with the million things on your to-do list to raise money?

  • Successful at your individual fundraising and want to make sure you rock the grant writing you are ready to start?

  • Unsure HOW to write proposals that will get accepted (what to share, what language to use, how to develop indicators and more)?

  • Confused why your proposals are being rejected when you KNOW your projects change lives?

  • Frustrated by the high cost of outsourcing your grant writing?

  • Distracted by fundraising and really wanting to focus on your programs instead?

Imagine...

Feeling confidence and ease doing grants.

  • Being clear on both the what and the how of building donor relationships and writing grants.

  • Having high-converting materials that make donors say “Yes!” to funding your work.

  • Having done-for-you resources to shortcut your path to getting funded.

  • Knowing which institutional funders are the perfect fit for your organization and exactly how to engage each one.

  • Having the skills and resources to find even more funders for your work in the future.

  • Having a powerful process in place to turn your current funders into multi-year funders.

  • … and, at the end of the day, having the donor relationships and the grants secured to achieve your mission.

A funding intensive is all about getting a fundraising insider expert on your side so your in-house team can exceed its annual fundraising goal and make the world a better place without working themselves to the bone.

It’s time to give your grants team the clarity, direction, know-how and feedback they need to succeed. Customizing our work to your organization´s needs, I will work with your grants team to build their critical knowledge, tools, systems and experience. We will start where your team is at and, together, we will power the team up quickly so you can get your organization fully funded while ensuring your team’s sanity (and even happiness!).

“By working with Shoshana, we captured well over $300,000 last year, surpassing our goal by almost $150,000.”

-Natün Guatemala

How it works

Together, I’ll help you get clear on where your fundraising is at and set your grants goals. We’ll meet every other week to map out your action steps for the week and give your team the skills for success. These videocalls will be recorded, so you can share them with any team members who aren’t able to join live or who join your grants team later.  After each call, your team will put into practice what they have learned, receiving my hands-on support to make big, concrete steps towards your funding goal.

I will also be available via email in between our sessions to troubleshoot, answer any questions and lead your team powerfully through creating the systems and developing the skill sets necessary to hit your funding goals. You’ll have my support ongoing for the 4 months. We can work in English or Spanish

Frequently Asked Questions

  • The funding intensive asks you to commit to your fundraising goal. For this, we recommend at least one person dedicate at least 2 days a week to attending the calls with me and doing the work. This level of commitment is necessary for any grant writer to be successful at grant writing, be it on their own or with the support of a program like this.

  • Proposals are approved based on the believability of the applicant, the competition, the technical correctness of the proposal and the story it tells. I get you set on, and am expert at, the last two. The first is up to you (though I will certainly let you know if I spot areas for strengthening here) and the second is unknowable. What I can guarantee is this: if you put in the work to participate in the training and coaching calls and do the homework, by the end of the 4-months you will have submitted multiple proposals and will be well on your way to achieving, and potentially even exceeding, your fundraising goals.

  • There is no better time than now to invest in the organizational future you want. Click here to book a call to get you clear on your fundraising goals, uncover anything holding you back, and map out your next steps to exceed those goals. The call is free, so you have nothing to lose! And at the end of that call, I will be able to powerfully advise you on what fundraising investment, if any, makes sense for your NGO right now.

  • Most NGOs have a limited budget, and it’s normal for investing in your fundraising to feel like a stretch. But here’s the thing: investing in support dramatically increases your chances of hitting your fundraising goals in the long run. Most likely, if you are reading this, your current strategy has not gotten you all the way to your goal. And if you continue on this same path, you will continue to get the same results you have been getting. Investing in your grants team is the fastest way to change that.

Our pricing is designed to be accessible AND we have multiple payment plan options to fit your budget. We also offer a group version, which has a lower invest level than 1-1 work.

I am also happy to do a free, initial strategy session with you. During this session, we will design a simple strategy for you to approach your board and current individual or institutional donors to ask them for the additional resources for this investment. Most funders will be thrilled to support you building your organizational capacity this way! Find a time on my calendar here and select Get Funded Discovery Call (Free).

  • I promise that the 4-month funding intensive will get you further, faster, than us collaborating by the hour. I developed this intensive specifically because I wanted to do more with each organization– and reach more organizations –than was possible supporting organizations by the hour.

What I do offer is add-on support for organizations enrolled in an intensive or who already completed it. If that’s what you are looking for, let’s talk!

  • To ensure that local voices are elevated in the grantee space, I am working hard to make my fundraising support available to historically under-resourced NGOs, by:

    • Providing support in both English and Spanish.

    • Offering a different rate for organizations that have less access to global north money.

    • Offering a group-based version of the intensive.

    • Partnering with funders to make the program available at a nominal fee to historically under-resourced NGOs.
