How I help NGOs

Do you need to raise more money for your organization´s world-changing work but are struggling because your team doesn’t have the dedicated time, isn´t sure if it should focus on individual donors or grants, isn’t sure which grant funders are right for you or isn’t sure how to write successful grants?

Have you found that free resources haven’t given you the personalized guidance and support you need?

It’s time to give your grants team the clarity, direction, know-how and feedback they need to succeed.

Fundraising Diagnostic and Roadmap.

Uncertain what fundraising strategy is right for your NGO? This 2-week engagement will give you a clear strategy to raise the funds you need, and a clear path forward to begin the strategy today.

I get you to this clarity through:

  • Taking a high-level look at your fundraising strategy, fundraising team capacity, IT systems, materials and results so far.

  • Having a deep-dive session with you to get to the heart of your challenges and opportunities.

  • Giving you a diagnostic of where you are at and where I recommend you focus your fundraising energy.

  • Handing you a roadmap with your critical next 5 steps to catalyze your fundraising.

Funding Intensive.

I will work with your grants team during a 4-month intensive to meet you where you are at and build your critical knowledge, tools, systems and experience. Through customized support, we will power your team up quickly so you can get your work fully funded while ensuring your team’s sanity (and even happiness!).

By the end of the 4 months, you can have a list of perfect-fit funders + outreach steps, a best-in-class grants package, tailored proposals already out the door, be engaging your current funders, have received personalized coaching and more, so you bring in more and more grant funding for years to come.

This intensive is all about getting a fundraising insider expert on your side so your in-house team can exceed its annual fundraising goal and make the world a better place without working themselves to the bone.

A 2nd Set of Eyes.

This is a targeted solution for small, passionate teams struggling to get their grant proposals accepted, and that want some one-off support. I help you win your next grant as quickly as possible by contributing my expert eyes and brain.

Things you might want my support on include:

  • A review of your current outreach materials or your draft LOI or proposal, to identify changes that will make a funder say yes!

  • A sense check of the funders you plan to submit it to.

  • Time on a call to troubleshoot any issues that are likely to stop a funder from saying yes!

  • A quick check of your website to make sure it won’t raise any red flags to donors.

  • Getting hand-selected resources that will help you move even closer to winning your next grant.

Get in touch if this sounds like what you need and we can chat details!

*Discounted rate is for organizations that are only registered as not-for-profit organizations and do not have an office, registration nor fiscal sponsor in the global north.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • Grant proposals are approved based on the believability of the applicant, the competition, the technical correctness of the proposal and the story it tells. I get you set on, and am expert at, the last two. The first is up to you (though I will certainly let you know if I spot areas for strengthening here) and the second is unknowable. And it’s similar for the other types of fundraising.

What I can guarantee is this: if we collaborate and you put in the work, you will be well on your way to achieving- and potentially even exceeding -your fundraising goals.

  • There is no better time than now to invest in the organizational future you want. Click here to book a call to get you clear on your fundraising goals, uncover anything holding you back, and map out your next steps to exceed those goals. The call is free, so you have nothing to lose! And at the end of that call, I will be able to powerfully advise you on what fundraising investment, if any, makes sense for your NGO right now.

  • Most NGOs have a limited budget, and it’s normal for investing in your fundraising to feel like a stretch. But here’s the thing: investing in support dramatically increases your chances of hitting your fundraising goals in the long run. Most likely, if you are reading this, your current strategy has not gotten you all the way to your goal. And if you continue on this same path, you will continue to get the same results you have been getting. Investing in your grants team is the fastest way to change that.

Our pricing is designed to be accessible AND we have multiple payment plan options to fit your budget.

I am also happy to do a free, initial strategy session with you. During this session, we will design a simple strategy for you to approach your board and current individual or institutional donors to ask them for the additional resources for this investment. Most funders will be thrilled to support you building your organizational capacity this way! Find a time on my calendar here and select Get Funded Discovery Call (Free).

  • I developed these specific ways of working together because I wanted to do more with each organization– and reach more organizations –than was possible supporting organizations by the hour.

What I do offer is add-on support for organizations enrolled in Funded with Ease or who already completed it. If that’s what you are looking for, let’s talk!

  • To ensure that local voices are elevated in the grantee space, I am working hard to make my fundraising support available to historically under-resourced NGOs, by:

    • Providing support in both English and Spanish.

    • Having tiered pricing, where I offer a discounted rate to NGOs that are solely based and registered in the global south.

    • Offering (soon!) a group-based version of the program.

    • Partnering with funders to make the program available at a nominal fee to historically under-resourced NGOs.
