I help funders become transformational funders by speaking about NGOs’ unexpected needs.

An upstart in the keynote speaking space, Shoshana is here to speak honestly and passionately about what is needed in the philanthropic and nonprofit spaces.

Having worked for years in multilaterals, corporate philanthropy and local nonprofits, she isn’t afraid to share what everyone is whispering about but doesn’t feel comfortable saying out loud:

the power and ease of introductions.

Shoshana’s keynote is titled “What your grantees really need from you (and grantees, how you can ask for it)”. In it, she shines a light on an overlooked —yet very easy— action that foundations can do to leverage their current giving and help their grantees in a transformational way for years to come.

She will provide guidance for funders, as well as key steps for NGOs to ask for this support and best take advantage of these opportunities.

She is bilingual in English and Spanish, a fundraising trainer and advisor and a public speaker in forums from the State of Mexico Active Citizenship conference to the IDB Invest Sustainability Week. She is a Toastmaster alumnus, published in multiple spaces and sells out her training programs.

Outside of her work, Shoshana has lived around the world and gotten involved with communities across these countries- from volunteering in a refugee shelter on Mexico’s southern border to connecting with the local NGO network in Guatemala. Shoshana lives her life with passion, purpose, and fearlessness.
